Cumbria CC will send out new single-status contracts to around 10,000 staff next week, with new equal pay terms and conditions.
The contracts will take effect from 1 September, and the council is hoping to complete all appeals by the end of May. ‘We have worked very hard to minimise the impact that this had on individuals,' said cabinet member for organisational development, Cllr Liz Mallinson.
