The local authority joint venture LGSS has signed a new shared services deal with Northampton BC to provide back office services.

More than 230 council staff will be transferred to LGSS, which was formed by Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire CCs. 'This strategic partnership will add significant new expertise, capacity and capability into LGSS,' said managing director, John Kane.
