Chancellor George Osborne has announced a significant extension to the North East Enterprise Zone.
Mr Osborne met with representatives from Sunderland City Council, freight specialist Vantec Europe, and the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) last week, when he visited the area to make the announcement.
