Oxford chief is off after three years

After just three years in post the chief executive at Oxford City Council is standing down.

Caroline Bull was appointed from the South West Regional Development Agency in 2004. Announcing her planned departure in January 2007 Ms Bull said: ‘I have a unique opportunity to achieve a number of long-held ambitious and I have decided to seize that opportunity. I hope the open, responsive and blame-free culture that I have tried to promote can be maintained,' she added.
