Oxford City Council has appointed Brian Dinsdale, interim chief executive, to take over from Caroline Bull when she leaves in the new year. Mr Dinsdale has more than 17 years' experience in local government, and is the former boss at both Middlesbrough and Hartlepool councils. ‘I am delighted that Brian has accepted the role of interim chief executive,' said council leader, John Goddard.
