Selected councils across England will be recruiting parenting experts, as part of a new initiative from the Home Office. Home Secretary John Reid said the experts would be hired by 77 councils to help crack down on anti-social behaviour. The Government also announced this week a £150m programme to build new schools in 23 local authorities.
