A planning application to build 6,800 new homes in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was submitted by the Legacy Communities Scheme (LCS).

A planning application to build 6,800 new homes in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was submitted on 5 October, by the Legacy Communities Scheme (LCS).

If successful, the LCS could see families moving in from 2015. Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, described the move as ‘an important step' in ‘the most important regeneration project the city has seen in 25 years'.
