Leicestershire CC council leader, Cllr David Parsons, has been re-elected as chair of East Midlands Councils, which represents all 46 local authorities in the region with a population of 4.4 million.
At the organisation's annual meeting on 22 July, Cllr Jon Collins from Nottingham City Council was elected vice chair, and Cllr Martin Hill from Lincolnshire CC was appointed chair of the improvement and efficiency board.
