Former Leicestershire CC leader, Cllr David Parsons, has resigned from the Conservative Party, senior county figures confirmed this week.
Cllr Nicholas Rushton, who replaced Cllr Parsons as leader of the county and Leicestershire's Conservative group, told a panel on 10 December that Cllr Parsons ‘has resigned from the party, full-stop'.
