Construction giant, Sir Robert McAlpine, has pulled out of a £400m partnership with Torbay Council to regenerate the English Riviera coastline.

Construction giant, Sir Robert McAlpine, has pulled out of a £400m partnership with Torbay Council to regenerate the English Riviera coastline.

The company, together with partner, Deeley Freed, had been appointed as preferred partners to create a joint venture with the council in March, but it was revealed last week that the company had now withdrawn from the process.
