Wakefield City Council has appointed Sarah Pearson to the role of service director for economic growth and housing.
Previously an assistant director of Balfour Beatty, where she delivered public sector delivery contracts, Ms Pearson has also worked for the Regional Development Agency, and with Hull City Council.
