Older people want a life and not just services, according to a new report by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). ‘People tell us that real choice means having real options, with the support to choose between them,' said CSCI chief inspector, Paul Snell. ‘Our discussion paper sets the challenge to agencies to accept that older people can, and will, take risks.'
