National children and families charity 4Children has announced that Sue Robb is to be its new head of early years, leading the organisation's policy and communication work on early years, including the new Department for Education-funded ‘Early years strategic programme', which is the new initiative to build communication and support across the early years sector, working with leading sector organisations.

Ms Robb brings extensive experience and expertise in early years, having previously been the senior director with Early Years – The National Strategies (Department for Education delivery partner) with responsibility for quality and partnership working.
