The Care Act and £3.8bn Better Care Fund is an ambitious and far-reaching policy that will lead to the most significant changes in our health and social care system in more than 60 years.
I was therefore honoured to introduce a session at this year's Local Government Association conference in which health minister Dr Daniel Poulter MP joined local councillors to outline how the introduction of personal budgets and closer integration of health and social care was being implemented.
