While many Twitter users had something to say when chancellor George Osborne posted a photo of himself eating a burger as he finished off preparing for last week's Spending Review, communities secretary Eric Pickles opted for a ‘revenge is a best served cold' strategy.
Mr Pickles went on the popular social media website and posted an image of himself finishing off his speech to this week's Local Government Association annual conference in Manchester.
