Welfare ministers have named four local authorities chosen to pilot an innovative ‘start to finish' partnership approach to tackling benefit fraud.
Corby BC, Glasgow City Council, Hillingdon LBC and Wrexham Council will test the model for a Single Investigation Service, a pan-government unit with powers to examine fraudulent claims across the public sector.
