Surrey CC will launch an eBay-style website in the new year to help local businesses pitch for council contracts.
Local builders and electricians will be among the first to use the BuildSurrey site, which will contain details of smaller jobs which major contractors, such as Morgan Sindall and Mansell Construction, need doing.
