Software company IBS OPENsystems has signed a £450,000 contract with Merton LBC to develop a program for processing council tax and benefit applications. 'We look forward to playing a pivotal role in Merton's IT strategy,' said IBS managing director, Bill Loughrey. Firms' choice move Accountancy firms RSM Robson Rhodes and US-based RSM McGladrey have announced plans to join forces. 'This transaction is designed to address calls for greater choice,' said Robson Rhodes managing director, David Maxwell.
