Council leaders and school heads have called on the education secretary to reveal what ‘plan B' is for school building funding.
The call came as six local authorities gave their final legal arguments in a legal challenge over the axed Building Schools for the Future (BSF) scheme in the High Court. Arguments from both sides have now been heard, and the judgement by Mr Justice Holman is likely this week.
