Aberdeenshire councillors are expected to approve a four-year plan next week to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. The council's Sustainability Charter, covering 2008-12, is due to be agreed by the full council. Aberdeenshire Council leader, Cllr Anne Robertson, said: ‘This is a very important document, if we are to continue to build on the excellent work done so far to increase sustainability in all areas of the council's work.'
