This entertainment value derived from a heady cocktail of their specific talents. On the one hand, we had Anton's expertise in dancing and also choreographing routines that minimised any exposure of Ann's dancefloor limitations; on the other hand, we had Ann's ‘pantomime' contribution to each routine, and caustic repartee with the judges. I doubt whether, without this alchemical mix of their respective talents, they would have been as effective or as popular.
