Police authority's joint savings ambition looks good on paper

Cleveland Police Authority has extended a partnership contract with the business services provider Steria.

Cleveland Police Authority has extended a partnership contract with the business services provider, Steria, aimed at securing additional savings of £9m and cutting down on paperwork.

The police authority already has a 10-year shared service partnership with the French firm, which began in October last year, valued at some £175m, which is expected to save £50m.
