Council leaders are ‘hopeful' cuts to police services will not impact on community safety partnerships.
The news comes after former rail regulator Tom Winsor's report into police pay and conditions seeks to find savings of almost £485m over three years. A spokesperson for the Local Government Association told The MJ: ‘We are hopeful any potential cuts would not have an impact directly on community safety partnerships.
