The Government should ‘act quickly' to ‘depoliticise' its infrastructure programme, if ministers want to kick-start local economies, experts warned this week.
The MJ's sister title, Surveyor, recently wrote to infrastructure experts – including the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT), the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), and the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) – asking how they would tackle the problem of moribund local economic growth.
