Poor and inconsistent public sector procurement is wasting millions of pounds, according to a new Cabinet Office study.
The report, Government construction strategy, by its efficiency and reform group, calls for a ‘profound change' to ensure the Government gets a better deal as well as a 20% cut in costs by 2015.
