Portsmouth City Council has formally requested to be excluded from the local government reorganisation (LGR) process.

Portsmouth City Council has formally requested to be excluded from the local government reorganisation (LGR) process.

The council has told ministers to leave the authority alone after 82% of residents backed the status quo.
