Local authorities have condemned the latest wave of Post Office closures announced, despite a campaign by local government. Alan Cox, leader of Amber Valley BC, said: ‘These closures are simply not acceptable. In particular, the more vulnerable members of our communities, such as the elderly, disabled and those without their own transport, will be severely disadvantaged.'
