Former local government minister and MJ columnist, Nick Raynsford, has been hired as the new chair of the Centre for Public Scrutiny (CfPS). The MP for Greenwich and Woolwich said he was ‘delighted' to take up the post. Executive director of the CfPS, Jessica Crowe, said: ‘New legislation and policy mean those involved in public service delivery are encountering considerable change. With Mr Raynsford's assistance, CfPS will help organisations and individuals understand how effective scrutiny can help them overcome many of the challenges they face.'
