Another milestone in the planning process for the Hinkley Point C power station has been reached.

Another milestone in the planning process for the Hinckley Point C power station has been reached, after three Somerset councils provided evidence of likely local impacts to the Planning Inspectorate.

Somerset CC, Sedgemoor DC and West Somerset Council supported concerns expressed by local police and fire services relating to potential transport and workforce impacts, as well as local parish councils' concerns around accommodation for workers.
