Workers at Somerset CC's headquarters were praised by leader, Jill Shortland, after a critical power failure left County Hall without electricity. ‘I want to pay tribute to county council and Western Power staff who have worked tirelessly in their efforts to revolve this problem,' said Cllr Shortland. ‘Throughout this incident, we have maintained our critical services, and we anticipate that normal operations will return shortly.'
