Research published by the Department for Communities and Local Government shows that nine pathfinder projects have helped improve social housing in their areas. The baseline evaluation report on the Housing Market Renewal scheme has shown a reduction in vacancy rates and an increase in local demand for homes within the pathfinder areas.
