Leaders of BCP Council, and predecessor local authorities long before reorganisation, have spent years lobbying successive Governments, and transport secretaries, for more powers to tackle persistent illegal and irresponsible parking across our three towns.
Those calls were brought to national attention last summer with the help of local MPs after more than 4,000 PCNs were issued on the back of three very busy weekends at the start of the 2025 summer season.
