When the price isn't right

You don’t have to be the prime minister to live in Westminster but it has become unaffordable for everyone else, writes Jonathan Glanz.

A range of organizations from the housing sector recently came together to launch a new publication which looks at the progress made by the government in tackling the housing crisis and the work still to do.

Homing in on the Issues includes contributions from housing charities, builders, social housing providers, think tanks and local authorities and covers a wide range of subjects, including the private rented sector, welfare and leaseholder issues. 

Much of the debate focused on the issue of housing affordability and the growing importance of housing policy in the political arena.
