Local authorities face a ‘huge' agenda and will need the help of the private sector to deliver it, a top industry chief has predicted. Peter Martin, chief executive of the Tribal Group, said there was a growing need for procurement and commissioning expertise against tight budgets. He said: ‘Authorities have been given a huge agenda but there are not the resources to undertake it, which is where organisations such as ourselves can help.' His comments came as Tribal's executive search arm, Tribal Resourcing, revealed increased market share.
