An overwhelming majority of people want the Government to control how welfare recipients spend benefits cash, polling for a leading think-tank has revealed.
According to a public attitudes survey of 2,052 adults commissioned by Demos, almost nine out of 10 people (87%) approve limiting how at least one group of claimants spend their money.
