LACORS (Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services) is a local government central body that supports and coordinates council regulatory services.

These include trading standards, food safety and standards, environmental protection, health and safety at work, alcohol and gambling licensing, private sector housing, animal health and welfare.

We provide and distribute advice and guidance, promote best practice and represent local government interests in terms of regulatory services, lobbying on its behalf.
