Eleven public sector bodies received awards for their e-government services last week. Chosen from 345 nominations, the winners were: Waltham Forest LBC (for its ICT strategy), the DfES and Connexions Direct (for national website), Home Office and Police Information Technology Organisation (for the IMPACT programme), the Warwickshire Direct Partnership (for CRM), West Sussex Accessible Services Partnership (partnership), Fife Council (supply teaching system), Rotherham MBC (eprocurement), Hertfordshire CC (online school admissions), National Archives (digitisation programme), North West Learning Grid (learning), and Shelter (website). The awards were organised by PublicTechnology.net which recently completed a major survey into shared services and e-government (The MJ, 18 January).
