Public sector job availability at an historic low

Public sector job availability has reached an all-time low, decreasing 8% year-on-year, according to the results of the April 2011 Monster Employment Index (MEI).

Public sector job availability has reached an all-time low, decreasing 8% year-on-year, according to the results of the April 2011 Monster Employment Index (MEI).

Although the MEI shows some long-term growth momentum in the UK, with annual gains accelerating to 14% from the prior month's 9% pace,the public sector dipped in the Index due to cuts in Government spending.
