Public sector staff are more likely to work unpaid overtime than any other sector of the economy, according to the Trades Union Congress.
One in four (26.3%) of public staff ‘regularly' worked unpaid overtime during 2010, the TUC reported on 23 February, compared with one in six people (18.9%) in the private sphere.
