The Hemming Group Ltd (HGL), publisher of LocalGov.co.uk, has just added another local government title to its portfolio with the purchase of the long-established monthly magazine, Local Government News (LGN).
The publication covers the built environment within local government, especially regeneration, housing and sustainable communities. It further adds to the Hemming Group's reputation as one of the largest publishers of specialist local government titles in the UK.
Apart from LocalGov.co.uk, other Hemming titles include the MJ and the associated annual awards, Surveyor and its programme of market-leading conferences, Municipal Year Book, RDA News, Traffic Engineering and Control and BAPCO News.
HGL's exhibition arm, Brintex, also organises the exhibitions for the annual LGA conference and the national children's and adult services and sustainable communities conferences, as well as other major public and private sector events.
