Pupils in primary schools run by Blackpool Council will be able to tuck into free breakfasts during a three-month pilot scheme, which could be extended, if successful.

Under the authority's initiative, youngsters will be able to choose from a range of healthy breakfast options, including fruits, yoghurt, toast, bagels and cereal bars.
