Pupils at Ripple Primary School in Barking, east London, took positive action against bullying last week, as part of a local government-backed campaign to eradicate verbal and physical violence from classrooms.
The youngsters delivered a clear message of support for Anti-Bullying Week, posing for this extraordinary photo. Cllr Rocky Gill, cabinet member for education and children at Barking and Dagenham LBC, said: ‘Bullying has no place in our society, be it in the classroom or the workplace. I would like to praise the 360 pupils who took part.'
