Students from Bognor Regis Community College will be spending the day at the races this week to see how maths is used outside the classroom. The event, organised by West Sussex CC's education business partnership, will see year 10 pupils get a guided tour of the weighing room, a look at the ‘handicap system', and study the race cards to work out probability.
