A new recycling and refuse collection by Biffa for Tandridge DC has almost doubled the local authority's recycling rate within six months, from 33% to 63%.

'This is a stunning performance that puts Tandridge DC among the best in England,' said Biffa's municipal division director, Roger Edwards. 'I'm very proud of the role that Biffa has played in this achievement and humbled by the way residents have responded.'
