South Ayrshire Council has fixed rent increases for council houses and other related properties at 5.2% for three years, in a bid to help tenants manage their domestic budgets.
Changes to rents levied by the authority follow a review of the council's Housing Revenue Account (HRA) business plan, which aims to give all tenants equal treatment.
