Government plans to overhaul school funding could leave councils with ‘a logistical impossibility' and damage their ability to look after vulnerable children, a new report has warned.
Published on 26 June, the joint Local Government Association (LGA) and Department for Education (DfE) report – based on in-depth research with nine local authorities – found ‘significant concern' among councils over the changes.
