The reorganisation of local government in Northern Ireland has taken a step forward with the publication of a report.

The reorganisation of local government in Northern Ireland has taken a step forward with the publication of a report setting out provisional electoral areas for the new councils.

The District Electoral Areas commissioner, Richard Mackenzie, has suggested boundaries for a total of 462 wards, which will make up the 11 new authorities.
