Reputations face scrutiny

A new ‘commission' has been launched to look at the reputation and communication skills of local government.

LGCommunications set up the commission, chaired by Buckinghamshire head of comms, Carl Welham, to look at why the reputation of local government was falling, despite increased satisfaction with services

Mr Welham, explained: ‘We have proved we can boost the reputation and understanding of our services but, as a professional group within our sector, we need to demonstrate the value we add to the bottom line in our operations.'
