Fire and rescue services may merge

Councillors will meet this month to discuss plans to merge Suffolk and Cambridgeshire fire and rescue services.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Fire Authority members meet today (11 October) to recommend developing a full business case, and Suffolk CC's cabinet will meet on 16 October to discuss similar plans.
