Kent CC has been given a four-star rating by the Audit Commission for its use of resources. ‘The county council has continually sought to improve the way it spends the public's money and in light of the very disappointing grant settlements from the Government is best placed to meet these challenges,' said cabinet member for finance, Nick Chard.
